Window graphics | Gillian Lynne Theatre, London’s West End
Walk through the heart of London’s West End, and chances are you’ll come across some of our perforated window film. Buildings, theatres and buses are utilising Contra Vision products to spread their message.
The Challenge
The Gillian Lynne Theatre in London, known for its world-class productions, including the iconic play War Horse, the theatre was in need of bold, eye-catching graphics to promote its latest entertainment offering, ‘Show Boat’. The theatre wanted to enhance the building exterior and catch the attention of passers by, while maintaining natural light within the building.

The Solution
To meet this challenge, long term collaborators, Media Abseiling selected Contra Vision perforated window film, installing approximately 75m² of material.
Our product was chosen for its market-leading performance, allowing for vibrant and impactful visuals without compromising interior lighting. Its ability to be removed easily also made it an ideal solution for a venue that frequently rebrands for new productions.
The project demanded a specialist approach due to the theatre’s high-level windows. Despite the technical challenges, the installation process was straightforward, and the finished graphics delivered a stunning visual impact throughout the production’s run.
This case study is a great example of the ease of application of Contra Vision perforated window film, as the team at Media Abseiling felt comfortable and confident in applying the material at a significant height.
The installation not only elevated the theatre’s branding but also demonstrated how perforated window films can transform urban spaces, making them both visually engaging and functional.
