Who is the course for?

Anyone working in the sign industry who wants to develop their practical, hands-on skills. It’s suitable for those just starting out as well as people looking to gain more confidence with tools, materials, and application methods.

Where is the training held?

All sessions take place at Trimwel HQ:

What does the course include?

Three full-day training sessions, one per month over a three-month period. Each session covers different aspects of general signmaking, allowing you to build skills over time.

What will I learn?
  • Operation of printers, laminators and plotters
  • Understanding self-adhesive materials and substrates
  • Preparing substrates and using basic hand tools
  • Application techniques for self-adhesive films
  • Finishing techniques including weeding, tapes and fixings
  • Tips on avoiding common pitfalls and installation issues
Do I need any prior experience?

No. The course is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who want to improve their practical skills.

The focus is on practical, hands-on learning with real tools and materials used in the trade.

Each session runs for one full day.

Training Course Cancellation Policy

Trimwel Ltd delivers professional training courses to the signage and print industry, including Car Wrapping, Architectural Materials, and General Signage training. Due to limited course availability and preparation requirements, the following cancellation policy applies to all training bookings:

  • More than 14 days’ notice prior to the scheduled course date:
  • 100% refund of the course fee.
  • 7–14 days’ notice prior to the scheduled course date:
  • 50% refund of the course fee.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice prior to the scheduled course date:
  • No refund will be issued.

All cancellations must be made in writing via email. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method.

Trimwel Ltd reserves the right to reschedule or cancel training courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
