An independent lifecycle assessment between RTape's paper (Conform) and plastic (Clear Choice) application tapes* showed that RTape Conform® paper application tape has up to a 45% lower carbon footprint compared with RTape plastic application tape. That represents approximately 35 kg of CO₂ savings per roll. Paper also performed better in 15 out of 18 environmental impact categories assessed, including air pollution, global warming and water use.
Together, FSC® certification and the lifecycle assessment tell two complementary parts of the same story: both responsible sourcing and environmental impact are important.
