Halloween & Christmas Campaigns Made Easy
Halloween and Christmas campaigns are just around the corner, making now a great time to start thinking about temporary retail and promotional graphics.
Metamark MetaDot features a dot-pattern adhesive system designed for fast, bubble-free application. Graphics can be easily installed, repositioned and removed by the end user, without requiring a skilled installer.
That makes it a particularly useful option for temporary promotional and seasonal graphics that need to go up quickly and come down again when the campaign is over.

Tip of the Trade | Give Your Print Time to Breathe
Finished printing? Don’t rush straight to the laminator.
Solvent and eco-solvent prints need time to properly degas before laminating. Giving residual solvents time to escape from the printed material can help ensure the graphic is ready for the next stage of production.
One of our customers has even created their own solution to help the process along. They’ve fitted small fans inside a Dibond tray with a mesh top, helping to move air through the printed material and encourage solvents to dissipate.

It’s a great example of how a little creativity in the workshop can help make the production process more efficient.
For Metamark MD5, allow approximately 24–48 hours before laminating or contour cutting, remembering that heavy ink coverage and darker colours may require longer.
Trimwel Tip: Good airflow is key. Whether you use a purpose-built setup like this or simply position freshly printed graphics so air can circulate, avoid tightly winding prints immediately after printing.
Customer Spotlight | CL Print
Creative Applications with CL Print
This month, we’re putting the spotlight on CL Print, based in Casla, Galway, following the recent installation of their new Neolt Shield laminator supplied by Trimwel.

We’re also showcasing one of their recent vehicle graphics projects, which brings together several materials supplied by Trimwel.

Metamark MD5-AB has been used creatively for the vehicle decals, particularly across the rear, creating a striking finish. The graphics were paired with Metaguard MG705, with Contra Vision Performance used across the rear windows.
It’s a great example of how the right combination of materials can be used creatively to carry a design across different areas of a vehicle.
Materials used:
- Metamark MD5-AB – vehicle decals
- Metaguard MG705 – laminate
- Contra Vision Performance – rear window graphics
A big thanks to the team at CL Print for choosing Trimwel for both their materials and their latest finishing equipment.
*This project is not a full vehicle wrap. For full vehicle wraps we would recommend a full cast product like MDC-XR from Metamark.
